This is a wonderful little book about friendship.  The Sun and the Clouds are best friends and working together they keep the earth warm, gardens growing and rainbows in the sky.  But one day they get into a fight and refuse to ever be in the sky together again!  Slowly the earth loses it’s color because there are no more rainbows and everything becomes black and white.  That is until one little forgotten box of crayons fall out of a small school desk.  The crayons decide to work together to bring color back to the world.  They begin to draw rainbows large and small, all over town.  The sun and clouds are so curious they have to come together for a closer look and they love the beautiful rainbows.  Fights are forgotten and friendship is renewed!  This is a delightful little story about friendship and teamwork.

My grandsons have a bedtime story read to them every night by my son and daughter in law if they are home or by me if they are spending the night with me and many times during the day they will bring a book to one of us and ask us to read to them. I hope they carry their love of books thru their older years!

Some child will be very happy with all those books! I love to read and fortunately for my granddaughter so does my daughter and her husband. Amara has been raised surrounded by books and at 12 always has two or three books she is currently reading!

Hi Kc, It’s so good to hear from you! That’s wonderful that Amara is a reading enthusiast. I’m sure that her grandma did a great deal of reading to her and helped encourage that love! What is her favorite type of book? Teresa
