Welcome to the Ice, Ice Baby Giveaway Hop!
I’m joining Mama the Fox and Rita’s Reviews, along with several other bloggers to bring our giveaways to you in one giveaway hop!
When thinking about the title of the giveaway and how extremely dry my skin gets in this icy weather, especially my hands, I chose to give away something that would soothe even the dryest, winter weather skin.
My giveaway consists of two separate gift sets and the first one is this Burt’s Bees Hand Repair Gift Set which includes 3 different hand creams plus gloves. Almond milk hand cream, lemon butter cuticle cream, and shea butter hand repair cream.
The second gift set included in this giveaway is the Burt’s Bees Essential Everyday Beauty Gift Set which contains 5 travel size products; soap bark and chamomile deep cleansing cream, hand salve, milk and honey body lotion, coconut foot cream and beeswax lip balm. It is wonderful to have these travel size products ready to go on trips. It takes way too much room in our luggage to try and take along the full-size items.
Enter here for a chance to win both of these sets and then visit each of the other participating blogs and enter their giveaways!

The prizes I’m offering were purchased by me with no compensation.

I manage winter skin by moisturizing every day! I also use coconut oil.
The best way for me to combat dry skin is to apply a nice, rich lotion after I get out of the shower. I let it dry a bit and then I apply a second layer of cold cream (such as Jergens) or heavier, greasier cream like Nivea Creme. It really holds in the moisture and keeps the skin supple. Regular lotions don’t contain enough oil in them to last throughout the day, but this routine works fabulously for me. Using more oil also makes my skin prettier and younger looking. I’m getting older and I don’t have wrinkly skin on my chest or throat. It also tends to fade any spots or marks you might have.
If things are really dry, I run a humidifier. I also try to remember to put lotion on while my skin is still damp. if my feet and hands need extra moisture, I can put Vaseline on them and wear cotton socks and cotton gloves to bed.
I like to use a sugar or walnut scrub in the shower and bath.
I use vitamin E lotion
I stock up on lotions and chapstick, my preferred brands are burts bees and eucerin.
I use a lotion for extra dry skin.
