summer vacation

The weather is warm and school is almost out, which means summer vacation is just around the corner.  For many of us that means a trip to the beach.  Surf and sun, water sports and good food!  It also means the kids need new clothes among other expenses.  And that’s where this giveaway comes in!

I’m offering to one lucky winner a $25 Gymboree egift card to help with the things the kids need, plus a $25 visa gift card to help out with the other expenses.  That’s a prize packet worth $50 to help make your vacation planning a little less stressful and a lot more fun!

Enter here for a chance to win and then visit each of the other blogs listed below in the “Life is a Beach Giveaway Hop” hosted by The Kids Did It and  The Mommy Island for a chance to win lots of other giveaways!

Spring is my favorite time of the year. Unfortunately it only lasts about three weeks here and then it gets hot and muggy.

We live in San Diego, so Spring is definitely here. This is why I love living here! Inter isn’t all that bad anyway! Spring is my favorite time here because the weather is a perfect 72 most days and the tourist traffic hasn’t arrived yet!

What a fun give away! Thank you! Am I ready for spring? Oh my yes! I don’t need the cold bluster of winter to hang around any longer. I’m only grateful that we had minimal snow here in Michigan – that was nice!

I try to make it down the Jersey Shore 2- 3 times a summer. There is a lovely lake just 20 minutes from my house so I end up sitting on that beach a couple of times a week. Beautiful.

We live in Charleston, so our staycation includes the beach. 🙂 We try to go when we can…. I’m planning a few days before public school gets out since we homeschool. The beach will be less crowded then. 🙂

We just moved from Florida but we will be back to enjoy the beaches this summer! Never as often as we would like but to be fair we lived 10 minutes from the beach for 3 years and barely ever went. It’s fun but I don’t like to go empty handed so if I don’t have money for snacks and drinks then I don’t go. But we will at some point.
