I decided to forgo the BBQ’s and social activities that often go along with Labor Day and spend a quiet day at home instead.
I spent a lot of time working on a macrame’ project. I’ll show it to you when it’s finished. I’ve been decorating an empty wall in our living room and wanted something different to hang from some hooks that will reside there and came up with this idea. I’m hoping it turns out right!
And… laundry, I did lots of laundry!
How was your Memorial Day? And what wonderful crafts, DIY projects, recipes, and thoughts have you been working on lately?
Link them up here, I love seeing them and reading about them!
First though, are my features from last weeks party:
My first feature is Scrap Trash Robots from What Happens at Grandma’s. This very special grandma does a Grandma Camp every year with her grandchildren and all I can say is that they are very lucky grandchildren! The camps would be so much fun for any child. The robots are only one small portion of this summer’s camp. Be sure and check out her blog for more ideas!
My second feature is this DIY Framed Beadboard Art from Angela at Simply Beautiful. The painted and framed beadboard is displayed so nicely with just the right mix of other decorative items. Angela shows us how to make the beadboard art in her post.
Congratulations to my featured blogs! Please copy and paste a featured button to your website.
