Party in Your PJ’s #176

Party in Your PJ'sWelcome back to Party in Your PJ’s!  It’s hard to believe another busy week has passed, and for us, last weekend was extra busy!  My son and daughter-in-law needed to go to a conference so this grandma and grandpa stepped up to the plate and kept the four little ones.

I did some planning ahead of time to make sure we had plenty of things to do to keep busy.

On day one we made a craft, played games, played outside and kept busy at home.

On day two we made a trip to the “duck park” as we call it.  I wrote about our adventures there once before and you can read about that here if you’d like.  Feeding the ducks and geese is always fun.  At times you have an incredible number of them following you begging for more! And of course, we had to get some actual play time in on the swings and slides.

On Day three we had a trip planned to a small, local wild animal park.  We saw birds, camels, a bear, tigers, goats, deer, a zebra, lots of cute little baby pigs and a gaggle of 3 geese.  And before we knew it, their mom and dad were home to find 4 safe and happy children.

So how has your week been, very busy I’m sure!

Now my special feature from last week’s party, which is these Bakery Style Pumpkin Muffins from Leigh at Don’t Sweat the Recipe. They look so moist and delicious to me they have my mouth watering.  I can just imagine eating them warm with melted butter!
