Before we get started I want to share a book I’ve discovered that I love to read to my grandchildren.  The name of it is “the Most Perfect Snowman” by Chris Britt.

It’s the story of a very special and very plain snowman named Drift. He didn’t have a hat or a scarf or mittens like the other snowmen. He didn’t have a pointy carrot nose either.

The other snowmen wouldn’t play with Drift because he was different. Every day he dreamed of having all of the things the other snowmen had and of finally belonging.

One day, Drift’s dreams come true and he is given all of the things he’s been longing for. But when a terrible blizzard sweeps in it changes everything. Can Drift give up the things he’s been longing for and become the most perfect snowman of all?
