For many of us the holiday season means traveling to visit loved ones.  We all know what that means when babies or young children are involved… packing lots of stuff to take along!!  

When family travel is involved, our grandchildren love to get to ride along with Paul and I.  So a few years ago when a trip was planned and our granddaughter would be riding with us, I created a checklist in the hopes of not forgetting anything.  I’m so much better at packing if I have a list!

CollieWhen I was a little girl, the famous collie Lassie, was on TV and of course that made collies very popular.  There wasn’t a family in America that didn’t know who Lassie and Timmy were!  But now, times have changed; so ask yourself, “when was the last time I saw a rough coated collie?” You may actually own one, or live close to someone that does, so it may be a common sighting for you, but I will dare to say that the majority of people haven’t seen one for a very long time.
