We’re three weeks into 2018, which begs the question “how are your New Year’s resolutions holding up?”

I didn’t make any resolutions this year, but I do intend to set specific goals for myself. I confess I haven’t gotten that done yet! It has been a whirlwind three weeks for me and I haven’t had the quiet time that I need to sit down and put the goals that are whirling around in my mind on paper. I…will….get….it….done! Read more….

How is your Christmas shopping coming along? Mine has been almost nonexistent so far. I’m not kidding! I’m way late and I don’t know what’s wrong with me! Just today though as I was sitting at the hairdresser, once again getting those pesky gray roots handled, we started chatting about Christmas and I think it was then and there that it really sunk in that I need to get busy.

I am doing a little better in the decorating department. Thank goodness for that!

Cute & Easy to Make Spiders Plus Party in Your PJ’s #179

The weeks just seem to fly by, don’t they? It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for another Party in Your PJs; a great opportunity to show off your newest thoughts, projects, recipes, ideas, creations, etc!

Before we start I want to quickly share these super easy and cute little spiders the grandkids and I made yesterday. I had everything on hand already which was great. I used a pack of 6 styrofoam balls left over from Christmas last year, pipe cleaners, googly eyes and of course craft glue. Read more…

Party in Your PJ’s #178

We are having a wonderful and busy week with family visiting from California and Minnesota. We have talked and laughed, ate, drank a little beer or wine and talked, laughed and ate some more. It’s been wonderful to catch up with everyone!

Family is so, so precious and ours seems to be spread out everywhere. All together we have our daughter, 3 sisters and my mom in California, 1 sister in Washington state, 1 sister in Minnesota, 1 brother in Arizona. As I grow older each one becomes more precious to me and any little morsel of time together is priceless. Read more….
