As I was browsing through Hobby Lobby one day I stumbled upon the Happy Planner section and because I happen to love planners, I thought these were great. I didn’t buy one that day, but I continued to see things online about them and swooned over them another day while in Michaels. Long story short, I bought one! Christmas is almost upon us and what stage of preparation are you in?
Do you have a gift list made, have you bought any gifts? Or maybe like me, you haven’t given it a thought yet! It seems every year I’m out there a couple days before Christmas finishing up a few things.
I’m becoming more minimalistic in my thinking though and along with that my Christmas shopping has become more minimalistic too! There have been Christmas’s in the past that I have gone into debt to buy gifts and I now realize that is the wrong thing for me to do. I want to remember the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus and make it more about that.

Fall began on September 22nd and today it actually feels like it, there is a cool breeze and the temps are in the high 60’s. We took a drive through some of the Maryland and Pennsylvania countrysides today and it was a beautiful day! The hills still look pretty green, but you can see some color starting to pop out here and there.
