I love to share delicious recipes that are also quick and easy. I mean, we’re all leading busy lives, right? And finding time to spend in the kitchen can be very challenging.
This recipe for Dump Cake fits those requirements perfectly: quick, easy, and delicious!
Dump Cake Ingredients:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 cup chopped pecans
How to make it:
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees
- Spread the pineapple (undrained) in the bottom of a 13 x 9 ungreased dish
- spread the cherry pie filling over the top of the pineapple
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the top of the cherry pie filling
- Sprinkle pecans over cake mix
- Cut the butter into pats and place over the top
- Bake for 1 hour
Enjoy! I like to eat mine with a little whipped cream on top.
