holiday
For many of us the holiday season means traveling to visit loved ones.  We all know what that means when babies or young children are involved… packing lots of stuff to take along!!

When family travel is involved, our grandchildren love to get to ride along with Paul and I.  So a few years ago when a trip was planned and our granddaughter would be riding with us, I created a checklist in the hopes of not forgetting anything.  I’m so much better at packing if I have a list!

I recently turned the list into a printable infographic for you in the hopes that it will help you out in some small way too!  holiday

Just click on the link below and the printable form will open up for you.

My kids love Halloween, even if it is raining or cold! Besides going to the pumpkin patch and getting pumpkins, fresh cider and apples, we need to buy costumes, and of course there are the class parties to look forward to! It should be a good time!

Every year we take the kids trick or treating and then we order pizzas from our favorite family owned pizza place. We watch Halloween movies with the kids all night like Hocus Pocus, Addams Family values, Casper the Friendly Ghost, & R.L. Stine’s Monsterville Cabinet of SOuls.

We are not planning to go anywhere for the holidays except to local family members homes to celebrate with them. I think that’s a big part of what the holidays ate about.

We aren’t traveling per se. My oldest daughter is coming up to visit from Florida. She is coming up the 25th to be here for the 1st anniversary of my 22-year old daughter’s suicide. This is a very hard time of the year for us. My middle daughter will be taking Carter our trick or treating but I will most likely stay home.

Teresa October 21, 2016, 7:11 am
