We’re so glad you stopped by!

Before we start this party, I want to share with you one of the most meaningful books that I have ever read.  It is Victor Frankl’s “Man’s Search for Meaning”.  Chances are you’ve read the book or heard of it, but I decided to share it today just in case there are some of you that haven’t read it.

I first heard of the book when listening to a motivational speaker in 2001. She used many quotes from the book which sparked my desire to hear more of what this man wrote.  I bought the book and devoured its wonderful contents.

It is psychiatrist Viktor Frankl’s short memoir of a 3 year period of his life spent in Nazi death camps, which included Auschwitz. Mr. Frankl through his own experiences and those of others maintains that we can’t avoid suffering but we can choose how to cope with it.

It is such a profound book and if you haven’t read it, I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Now on with my features from last week’s party!

My first feature is Wendy from My French Twist and her Paper bag Vases.  Honestly, would you ever have known that these were just paper bags! I don’t have very many vases around my house so this is a DIY project I will be using.

My second feature is Stephanie at Somewhat Simple and her Cupid Floats.  These are so easy and would delight adults and children alike!
