My weekend was consumed with a yard sale. Well, at least most of the weekend. What are your thoughts on yard sales? Do you like having your own or just going to other peoples?
I don’t mind having a yard sale once or twice a year, but visiting others is always more fun!
Last summer when we had a yard sale I put together a lemonade stand for the grandchildren. We set it up again for this yard sale and our little entrepreneur enjoyed it thoroughly. No one escaped our yard sale without being approached by a 7-year-old little girl with big brown eyes asking if they would like to buy some lemonade!
We usually get more traffic at our yard sales than we did this time, but it still turned out okay. Maggie made $20.00 at her lemonade stand which required a trip to Toys-R-Us before we took her home. She picked out something small for herself and each of her siblings (with a tiny bit of help from Grandma).
Everyone was pleased with her purchases when we took her home!
If you want to see how I made the lemonade stand, click here. Everything, except the table, is easily stored in an under-bed box to quickly be put together again for the next yard sale. The table folds up very small and requires little storage space.
Enough about my weekend; I have two very special blogs featured here today!
First is Michelle from The Painted Hinge and her post titled How to Make a Dried Hydrangea Wreath. Doesn’t it look beautiful above the mantle!
My second feature is Jen from A Fireman’s Wife and her recipe for a moist, delicious Orange Vanilla Poppy Seed Bread!
Congratulations to my featured blogs! Please copy and paste a featured button to your website.

Thank you for this link up. I love working in my PJ’s and some days I don’t bother getting out of them. I have a great pair of Turquoise Blue bamboo PJ’s that have pockets in the bottoms, so I never really need to get dressed. Oh the life!
Sounds like a great day! Thank you for linking up, we’re so happy you’re here!
