Welcome to Party in Your PJ’s #196!

Oh boy, it’s warm here in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia today. As I’m writing it is 79 degrees!  I have the windows all open and a wonderful breeze is passing through.

Here at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, we have sleepovers that include all 4 of our grandchildren that live close by, and we also take turns having them one at a time.  Last night my 5-year-old grandson stayed with us. When Jacob is here it means we play a lot of “pirates” together.  And last night with our popcorn we watched the old Disney movie “Blackbeard’s Ghost” with Dean Jones. It is the cutest movie and Jacob requests it every time it’s his turn to spend the night by himself.

Today because of the super warm weather, we decided to go for a long walk, taking along our collie Gunnar. Now we are referring to it as the “killer walk” because by the time we got back we were super warm and tired.

My first feature this week is Erin from Delightful E Made and her delicious looking “Lemon Bundt Cake”!  Lemon cake is soooo good!

My second feature is Joy from Artful Homemaking and her “How to Install a Beadboard Kitchen Backsplash”. I’ve never seen beadboard used as a backsplash but I think it looks amazing!
